Summary

Richard Bayley is a successful and enthusiastic quantity surveyor and architectural designer with over 37 years experience in the construction industry.  He has a proven portfolio of successful developments for both new build, conversions of historical buildings, hotel and leisure complexes.

Richard’s background was as a divisional quantity surveyor for a leading national contractor, responsible for selection of sub-contractors, cost control, estimating, processing payment applications, and agreement of final accounts and resolution of contractual claims.

Richard has worked for Harris Consulting International for the past 17 years, specialising in the provision of commercial management and quantity surveying services in connection with site acquisition, design and construction of 2^nd Generation and 3^rd Generation installations for major contractors working in the telecommunications industry.  In this role Richard has worked extensively across the UK, Holland and Belgium.  Subsequent to this he was responsible for the financial auditing duties of the civil works in connection with the UK’s change over from analogue to digital service for all BBC and ITV channels.
