Michael Harris was mentioned in the ‘Acknowledgement’ of James Pickavance’s excellent book headed ‘A Practical Guide to Construction Adjudication’. The book is an excellent review of the process and procedure of adjudication and covers the leading law cases across the wide scope of adjudication issues.

Michael is quantity surveyor for the demolition of an old church and construction of a new church in his home town of Otford, Kent. The new church building for Otford Methodist Church will provide a dynamic centre for Otford Methodist Church and the wider community. Michael offers his services pro-bono. The works were completed in September 18. The building is a remarkable addition to the high street.

Michael Harris is chairman of Harambee Schools Kenya (HSK). The charity provides infrastructure and education support (including a feeding programme) for 4 number primary schools and 1 number secondary school, which was built under the auspices of HSK in the Rift Valley area of Kenya.

Ngecho Secondary School Assembly Hall was recently completed and provides an amazing facility for the school and local community.
